The art of running any race is not as complicated as one may think. To be successful with your race strategy, you must develop the ability to distribute your speed and strength efficiently throughout the race. This means having a consistent stride length and frequency even if it’s a short sprint or a distance race.
To maximize developing your stride length and frequency, you’ll need to master the right athletic drills. This will also develop your running mechanics, such as your body position (Legs, arm, feet, head, and trunk).
However, you’ll need to understand that running takes more than speed and strength, it also takes intelligence. If you are erratic in your thinking, you’ll be erratic in your race execution.
Once you learn to master distributing strategy, you’ll discover that reaching your Highest Potential is as simple as 1, 2 and 3. I strongly recommend that your training model is design to mimic every race phase you’ll encounter.
Learning the correct way to distribute your speed and strength is the key to your athletic success. Successful athletes are aware that it is imperative to master the art of distributing their speed, strength and energies efficiently over the entire race distance. No athlete can move to the next phase if they lack this ability.
No athlete is capable to run their event all out from start to finish. As a result, having the knowledge to mastering training and race pace is essential. Knowing the correct way to monitor oneself and making adjustment in training and competition is most important. If your speed is an asset/strong point, it can only work for you if you develop the ability to distribute these energies properly.
