This process takes time, discipline, patience, and wisdom. You also must keep good records of the process in order to make the fine adjustments the system needs to refine the process.

The system must address each important aspect of your life, career, and training program.

Some of these important aspects are: mental preparation, proper nutrition, training regiment, social life, and the most important of them, your spiritual life.  These are the fundamental building blocks of a good system (program), and must be present if you want to reach your highest potential in your sport.

You must treat every aspect of your training as an important part of the whole system and not as separate pieces of a puzzle. In other words you must take a holistic approach to your training regiment. You cannot reach your highest potential if you ignore the small things that make the big difference, this would be like attempting to bake a cake without eggs.

Many training programs (systems) are not designed to identify and eradicate the weak areas of its athletes. This is a source of discouragement for many athletes that should be address.

You should perform this type of training in stages that will allow you to develop the mental confidence, and toughness.

Once your weaknesses become your strength and they will, you will be mentally and physically ready to move to the next phase of your training.

Never advance or let your coach advance you to the next phase of your training until you demonstrate that you are competent at your current phase. You must demonstrate that you are ready to advance, because your success is developed from the pattern, and you must master each phase of the pattern in order to develop a strong foundation. Continue to advance the pattern, until you have realized your Highest Potential.
