GP Sports & Nutrition mission is to inspire athletes to achieve their highest potential and improve in all aspect of their sports.  We are the secret behind our athletes’ mental, physical and nutritional success.  We support and teach our athletes to realize their true potential that lies with.  Whether your goal is to improve incrementally or sustain longevity, our mission is to generate lasting success through building a solid foundation. 

 

GUIDELINE FOR GP SPORTS & NUTRITION PROGRAM DESIGN

The guidelines and design of GP Sports program, is based upon a solid foundation of scientific information. However, these guidelines are principles not laws. Therefore, these guidelines are utilized with flexibility and special emphasis placed on the goals of the athletes participating in our training camps. The physiological and perceptual responses to exercise may vary from person to person. People adapt to training at different rates and levels, and what works for one person, may not work for another.

 

However, GP Sports believes that the most appropriate exercise program for a particular athlete is one that is most helpful to them to reach peak performance at the right time, changing their lifestyle, improving their health, while providing enjoyment of exercise. This will allow them to reach their highest potential with little wear and tear on their body.

 

 

PROGRAMS

GP Sports Track and Field Specialty Clinics are designed to give the athlete an opportunity to receive concentrated, individualized instruction in their sport. We teach athletes the necessary skills, coordination and movements that will assist them in developing the ability to perform at the peak of their potential in an organized athletic program. In short, our clinics will supplement most team coaching and staff and help to develop the poise and confidence necessary to compete at the highest level.

GP SPORTS STAFF

GP Sports Camp is directed by Three-Time Olympic Medalists and World Champion, Gregory Haughton. He is assisted by current and former professional athletes and other Olympians, who have achieved success at the highest levels. The coaching staff is responsible for leading the athletes in physical, mental, and social growth opportunities.

 

 

SCIENTIFICALLY.DESIGNED.&.PROVEN TRAINING PROGRAMS

 

All programs are designed by Greg Haughton, world-renowned sprinter and sports performance coach. Coach Haughton has coached, educated and counseled numerous elite and professional athletes, as well as collegiate national champions and All-Americans. He knows what it takes and what works to maximize athletic potential! GP Sports Performance training programs are scientifically designed to improve speed, power and agility – the three pillars of athleticism.

COACHING WITH THE PROPER GUIDANCE

A coach that cares for people, and not talent alone, can make all the difference in the world when it comes to athletic performance. That’s why at GP Sports we only select the best when it comes to our coaching staff. We require our coaches to have at least a Bachelor’s degree, and possess world class experience in athletics. Most of our consultants are Olympians or former world class athletes. Our coaches also understand that while they should push athletes to reach their highest potential, they should also lead by example, using positive reinforcement and identifying each athlete’s individual learning style.
